自古埃及以来，“蛇”就是王权的守护神与权利的象征。脱胎于瞿广慈艺术原作的最“原汁原味”的经典“小胖人”怀旧形象，稀奇的《蛇王》立于高台之上，手中紧紧攥住“权力的金蛇杖”，象征“高高在上，位高权重”之意。
稀奇小胖人冷峻而诙谐的面部表情细节，营造了一种复杂而意味深长的情态，这其中蕴含黑色幽默的深层隐喻与当代艺术的波普趣味，在留给观众细细品味之余，更凸显了这件作品“艺高一筹”的高级感，以及稀奇独一无二的艺术基因与气质。
The King Returns—Art Above All
Since ancient Egypt, the serpent has stood for royal power and divine guardianship. Drawn directly from Guangci Qu’s iconic “Chubby Man” series, XIQI’s Serpent King rises on a plinth, clutching a gleaming golden serpent staff—an emblem of unassailable authority.
The figure’s cool yet droll expression carries a layered, almost sardonic undertone. Between pop-art wit and a hint of dark humor, the work invites lingering reflection while declaring its own supremacy—art a cut above.
